Tiffany's Woodchucks soccer team sure played their hearts out at the 2004 championship game and this shot proves it.
They were tied 2-2 at the end of regulation play, so two quarters of overtime were added. Both quarters were added at the same time, meaning that regardless of the score at the end of the first OT quarter, the second one would be played. That's when the rain REALLY started.
At the end of the first quarter of OT they were tied 3-3. It was in the last couple minutes of the final quarter that they lost, 4-3.
As you can see from this pic, that pouring rain didn't keep this spunky team from really giving it their best shot. They'd won the big prize in 2003, so this was a bit of a letdown for them, but they proved that even extended play can't dampen their team spirit. That will really help their determination as the 2005 soccer season begins.
Tiffany is in the back row, in the center, in front of the female team coach. The gentleman on the left in the rear is the team's sponsor. His woodworking shop sponsor's the team, hence the name "Woodchucks".
