The Meeting

Catalina slapped him across his face, hard. "If I am going to die, at least I am going to get a couple shots in myself." she thought staring stonily at the pirate.
"Fiesty, aren't you?" he asked smiling charmingly, disarming her for a moment.
Catalina stared into his eyes for a brief moment, then managed to tear her eyes away from his.
"Why are you hiding in here?" he asked
"Why not. Pirates attacking my ship, what am I supposed to do? Wait for you to kill me?" snapped Catalina.
"I am sure that no pirates would kill you. We can find uses for women." he said smugly.
