Chapter #3

Flying to school without a plane

    by: Dragonlord Author IconMail Icon
Lyn rested for a few moments scanning the street to make sure no one was looking at her while she had her wings out. After about five minutes Lyn felt she would be able to get the rest of the way to school without having to stop again.
Lyn carefully searched the street once more to make sure that no one was watching her before she began to flap her wings again and flew off to school. What she didn't see was a single eye floating in the air watching her as she flew off. The eye closed and collapsed into a pile of sand that scattered in the wind.
Lyn landed just outside her school and managed to hide her wings before she got close to school. She quickly hurried to her class and got to her seat just as the bell rang and her teacher Mr. Glen said, "Cutting it a little close aren't you Ms. Lyn?"
