Lyn was to fasinated in what was going on to run. She watched as the creature continued to charge the airport's main building and a line of soidiers leveled their guns at the creature. The soilders fire in unison and Lyn thought the creature was a gonner for sure. The creature simply dived and weaked through the shots as if it were no more than a game of dodge ball.
When the creature got close to the soilders it breathed a white sparkling cloud at them, Lyn thought it looked beutiful but the soilders rann before it. Lyn saw why as the cloud advanced, it froze everything it touched.
The cloud swept forward freezing boxes and guns the soilders had dropped in their flight. The cloud moved fast but disapated quickly freezing the legs of the slower soilders and complete freezing those who tried to hide from the cloud.
The creature made a tromendous leap and crashed through the window mear feet from Lyn. Things seemed to slow down as Lyn turned to look at the creature as it shattered to glass. Lyn saw the creature look at her and made eye contact with her for but a moment but in that time Lyn read something in the creature's eyes, "I know what you are and we'll met again soon."
Then time flowed normally and Ann screamed as the talons on the creature's feet sliced into a soilder who screamed in agony and dropped his gun as he fell to the floor. The creature continued down the hallway and weaved around the soildiers's fire as it worked its way to the exit. Lyn saw the gun next to her and the soildier it belonged to gasping weakly and reaching for his gun still trying to stop the creature.
Lyn grabbed the gun and aimed at the creature but hesitated. She couldn't think of the creature as a monster, it was to much like her and probably only wanted to be free. But it was hurting people and might even kill someone if it got into the town. Lyn..
