Lex and Aki didn't have much time to breath a sigh of relief as they turned back and felt their stomachs sink. The delicate and playful flower girl was a lot more ambitious than either of them imagined. To keep the two miniature people from getting away, she actually climbed up on the pews and started climbing over top of them to get to where Lex and Aki had run to.
They looked up horrified as Aeris grinned down from the back of the pew above them. Shortly after she lept over and her huge feet slammed down before them, this time sending enough of a shudder through the wooden floorboards to make them fall over.
Lex struggled to get up and speed away as quicky as possible. Little did he know behind him, Aki was looking up from flat on her back, frozen in fear. Aeris giant toes were arching over her and quickly descended down to trap the tiny girl under the arch of her toes.
"Stop! Keep running and I'll squish your friend!" Aeris announced, the playful tone still in her voice. As much as the command was a threat, this was hardly a serious situation to her.
Aki cried out as Aeris wiggled her toes as she waited. The ball of her foot so close and pressing tiny pebbles to the floor and making them pop into meer grains of sand. She shivered to think of what such a massive sole could do to her own body. She didnt dare move.
"Aww comon, what is it going to be? Are you really going to let my big bare foot finish off your friend? You're out of my garden. The smart thing to do would be to surrender," Aeris suggested, her toes curling more and more, the anticipation of smushing the bug under them was a fun game for her.
Lex gulped deeply. He couldn't abandon his friend. But was this giant flower girl being honest, or would they both just end up as smears on her huge bare feet?
