The boys walked out the door where Drew made Jared levitate around the back yard. Jared flew over the small pool and he flew wide circles over the back lawn, all thanks to Drew’s cool, new powers. Unknown to them, Asher, the boy next door to Jared’s house, spotted them while peering between the wooden fences.
“Ohhh, wow… That is so cool!” Asher blurted out as Jared was floating in the air.
Drew let Jared float over the fence so he could say hi to his 7-year-old neighbor.
“Hey Ash, what’s up?”
“Hey! Are you floating around in the air? How are you doing that? Can I see?” Asher asked him.
The boy walked over to the wooden gate and unlocked it, so he could step into Jared’s back yard where he saw Jared floating a foot above the ground.
“Drew, this is Asher, the kid next door. I talk to him occasionally because he doesn’t have any other siblings. He’s only seven, but he’s cool. He’s like my little bro!” Jared explained.
“Hi Asher! Pleased to meet you!” Drew said to the boy as Jared looked on.
“Hey Drew, I gotta go used the bathroom, can you put me down please?” Jared asked his friend.
“Oh, sure!” Drew smiled.
Jared was left suspended a foot above the ground until Drew made his feet come down and touch the ground again.
“There you go. You can walk again!” Drew grinned, as Jared went inside of the house.
“Aww, that was so cool! How did you do that? It’s like you made him fly around like a remote-control plane or helicopter or a drone or something!” Asher smiled. “Damn, I wish I could do that!”
“You want the ability to levitate and move Jared around like that?” Drew asked the sweet, short, blond boy.
“Yeah, that would be so much fun!” Asher replied.
Drew approached the boy, and he placed both hands on the boy’s shoulders. Then, he touched the boy’s forehead.
“Okay, you can point your finger at him and you can make Jared float, levitate or fly whenever you want, as long as you can see him before you. Just don’t make sudden movements. Fly him like a drone or plane, in nice turns and lines, without too much jarring and changing directions suddenly.” Drew instructed.
“Oh, COOL!” Asher smiled.
Just as Jared stepped outside, he began to levitate off the ground as soon as Asher pointed at him. Asher pointed higher, and Jared’s body ascended into the air.
“DREWW! What are you doing?” Jared shouted.
“It’s not me. It’s Asher who’s making you fly!” Drew giggled.
“What!?” Jared gasped. “Ohhh, man!”
Right after that, Drew said goodbye and left Jared alone with his 7-year-old neighbor, who suddenly had the power to make him fly, levitate and hover anywhere and anytime!
