This choice: Jared suddenly grows to 5-foot-9, same height as Drew. • Go Back...Chapter #5Jared suddenly grows to 5-foot-9, same height a... by: scriptboy   While Jared was curling the 10-pound dumbbells in the free-weights section of the gym, Drew decided to use his cool new powers on him again. After all, his powers didn't work on anybody else but Jared. However, the interesting thing about his powers was, that Drew was capable of doing whatever he wanted! He realized that he could make Jared do anything, all he had to do was imagine it, and his friend's body would obey his silent commands.
"Let's make him a few inches taller so he's just as tall as I am!" Drew giggled quietly.
Jared was only 5-foot-6, about three inches shorter than Drew. So, while Jared was curling the dumbbells, he suddenly felt a faint tingling in his legs. He brushed it off as a slight cramp, and he kept on going until the burning sensation in his arms became too much where he had to rerack the weights and go see what Drew was doing.
He wandered around and he found Drew, who was standing near the front desk.
"Can we go now?" Jared asked him.
That's when Jared noticed something strange. Had Drew shrunk? Jared gave him a weird glance.
"What's the matter, bro? Why are you looking at me like that?" Drew asked him, with a smile on his face.
"You look different!" Jared said quietly. "There is something weird about you. Did you shrink?"
"I don't think so, bro! There is no way in hell that I could have shrunk!" Drew laughed. "Why do you say that?"
Jared walked a little closer to Drew. Their eyes were at the same level.
"I thought you were taller than me!"
Drew just smiled.
"Maybe you had a growth spurt in the gym! Lucky for you!" Drew shrugged.
"Yeah but... Growing three inches all at once?" Jared sighed. "That's not normal!"
"Maybe... Maybe you'll end up growing some more!" Drew said happily.
"I... Uhh... This is really weird!" Jared just reasoned, without being able to come up with a logical explanation for the unusual growth spurt.
"Don't worry about it, bro!" Drew grinned. "Maybe you're finally having your growth spurt!"
"So... You think I'm growing taller?" Jared asked him again.
"Well, you're the same height as me, right?" Drew assured him, with his arms folded before his chest.
"Oh, yeah, I guess you're right." Jared just concluded, since he was not aware of the fact that it was Drew who was causing him to grow all along.
"Just enjoy being bigger and taller, my friend! Maybe you'll gain some muscle, too!" Drew chuckled.
"How do you know?"
"I just know!" Drew smiled.
"Hmm... Okay!" Jared just sighed.
"Don't overthink it! Just accept it!" Drew assured him.
The boys then left the gym and they began to walk home. While they were walking, Drew decided to play with Jared's body some more. So, what does Drew do, next?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
