Leon always preferred working in the shadows. With him being a Chameleon and all, his natural camouflage made it that much easier to hide in plain sight. Whether it was on a planet or on a ship in space, as long as nothing was on him, Leon could become practically invisible.
Leon's long, slightly sticky tongue also helped in the act of ensnaring potential prey. With the high speeds it could shoot out and wrap around someone, it effectively won fights for him.
Leon heard rumors from an outside source that one of the Star Fox members would be taking a vacation to a random part of Corneria. Obviously, the member in question was none of than the bird brain, Falco. Who else would Leon track? Knowing this would be the perfect time to take Falco out, Leon hopped into a Wolfen and flew down to Corneria.
Landing a few miles away from where the blue bird was reportedly staying, Leon climbs out of his ship. To make his natural camo as effective as possible, Leon strips, leaving his clothes at his Wolfen. He was used to doing stealth missions in the nude, it felt natural to him. So Leon went, walking into the forest before him, his pigment changed to matched that of the forest surroundings.
