Conrad found himself in a strange surrounding. He looked around too see hundreds of thousands of his own kind scattered around him. He wasn't injured or felt sick. Others havn't had the same luck. He saw other Alieth lying motionless on the floor. Some screamed for help - others where dead or brutaly disembered. Some even died by materialising into the ground, the plants around them or into other Alieth. People where just scurrieng around trying to help each other out, bandaging injuries or - like Conrad simply beeing completly confused on what happened and unable to get in the new envoirenment as fast as most others did. Then One single thought came into his mind. Alice! "ALICE" he screamed. "ALICE!" but the noise was too strong and in fact he didn't even knew if he really called out. Other names where called. Names of beloved ones. Names of family members and friends who had been lost by almost everybody. He knew that they where just roughly aimed at an target location somewhere outside of the massive oceans of this planet and so he could just hope that Alice was ok. He knew that the survival of the ones who made it here was more important than his single fate - or that of his love so he got up and tried to help as good as he could.
He found himself in some kind of jungle. Great blades of green plants where stretching into the air and the ground was rough and brown. Roots of the plants which where all around him stuck out of the earth here and there. It almost looked like the early days of his homeplanet before the Alieth began building cities and fighting back the wildernes which had led them to this terrible event. Maybe this was the punishment for their behavior back on Alia but maybe this was a second chance to build up a new civilisation and to undo the stupidnes which brought doom to billions of his own kind and transformed their world into a toxic waste.
