The next day...

Karla sat at her kitchen table, drinking her morning coffee. Her flatmate was rushing out the door to her latest job interview.

"Good luck!" called Karla.

The radio was on and she was listening to the news.

"And on the lighter side of the news today, it seems we are not alone!"

Karla sprayed coffee all over herself.

"We've received a report of a full scale alien landing... of little aliens with multiple legs the size of ants!"

The DJ interupted, "So, they look like ants. And are the size of ants. Wouldn't they possibly be.... ANTS?"

The newsreader stifled a giggle, "I'm just reading what it says, Jo. Apparently the police and MOD have received several reports of sightings. So remember.... watch your step!"

Karla's mind raced. They weren't taking it very seriously, but it was true. It had to be! Unless it was just some crazy co-incidence. Maybe... She was confused.

Then she remembered. The ants! She'd seen ants just after the radio SOS, yesterday. It couldn't be, could it?
