The toy suddenly talking to you is unnatural. Every instinct of yours is telling you to get away from it. As quickly as you can, you bolt for the door, turn the handle, fling it open, and run.
You look back and you see the plush fox actually walking out of your bedroom. You walk backwards up to the living room couch, eying the living plushy warily, then she speaks up, "Why are you afraid of me? Sally gave me to you so I could snuggle you while she's gone."
"W-wait, she knows I sleep with you?" you ask
"Yep" she responds, "and she's glad that you enjoy me as her gift. You think of her whenever you snuggle with me right?"
"I always think of her" you answer.
This fox had a point. Sally is taking college classes and going for a degree in physics. The movies make college look easy. College students are always depicted as party animals with nothing better to do. Anyone that knows Sally knows that is not the case. As a result, she's had little time for you. The plushy was a way to help you know she's thinking of you too even if you never admit to liking it.
"Let's snuggle already. It will make Sally happy" exclaimed Rachael.
