Chapter #3Su's at it again by: chaos Su, the energetic and young resident genius of the Hinata woman’s dormitory was just going over the schematic to her latest machine. This time, instead of constructing one of her murderous flying turtle mechs, she had put her thirteen-year-old mind to a more important goal, the answer to her ever-constant hunger. Su ate three times as much as anyone in Hinata and it was really starting to get on peoples nerves. Even the timid Keitaro complained to her, of coarse she responded by giving him a flying kick to the head, but it did make her think. If she was eating thrice as much as everyone else, then that means she spent three times as much time eating as him or her. Her latest creation was going to fix that, it was going to let her eat huge portions of meals in single bites. Soon she’d be having lunch in five seconds flat and then have more time to play. The idea of creating a machine to decelerate her hunger hadn’t occurred to her.
“I’ve done it! Soon I will be eating ten times as much in under a minute,” Su shouted from on top of a branch of one of the many trees that decorated her room. She tossed away the schematics and did a victory dance on the narrow limb. Before she could activate her machine, the door to her room opened and Hinata’s resident house cleaner, cook and guest walked in.
“Su, time to come down for lunch,” Shinobu said cheerfully. She caught sight of a huge silvery machine, which reminded her of those cheesy death rays from old movies. Shinobu started to back away from the unknown contraption; experience has shown that if something looks dangerous in Su’s room, it probably was.
“What have you got there, Su?” Shinobu asked hoping she wasn’t going to say death ray. Su smiled blissfully and hopped down from her perch and stood next to her latest creation.
“This is my expando mouth and stomach with quicker eating actin thing a mabob.” Shinobu blinked at the strange name. Ever since she lost her first kiss to one of Su’s machines, she has tried to avoid them like the plague. But this one was so odd and misshapen, that she just had to find out what it was.
“Is it dangerous?” Shinobu asks. Su smiles blissfully and giggles at what to her is a ridicules question, but to the manager and tenets at Hinata it was the first question that came to mind.
“It’s perfectly safe,” Su said assuredly. She pounded on the side to show that it could take a bump and not blow up. It didn’t blow up, but the slight bang had activated it. The machine hummed with energy as it began to power up. Su and Shinobu saw this and also noticed where it was pointing at, a mirror. The shoot out a beam of light from it’s tip and the beams of light broke apart on the mirror and rebounded not only around Su’s room, but also reaching everyone inside Hinata woman’s dormitory.
