"What's going on here?" A voice called from the stairwell. "Who are you?"
"I'm sorry sir." Matt said as he immidiately tried to back to the door but found instead that something was keeping him there. "It started to rain and I was hiking... I'm sorry I'll be leaving."
"No don't go. This is quite the pleasant surprise. Here come closer. Let's have supper! It's been so long since I've had good company." Matt not wishing to be rude went with him following the sounds of his footsteps.
