It might be a rock lets check it out

Brad gasped as his step dad's foot suddenly retreated. He then rolled to the other end of the shoe as it was lifted into the air.
Dizzy, Brad attempted to get his barrings back when he found himself suddenly starring into the giant face of his step dad.

"BRAD?" His step dad boomed "IS THAT YOU?"
Before you can answer, the shoe is upturned as you are poured out into your step dad's hand.
Unable to gain your balance, you straddle yourself on all-fours as you look up into his face.

"BRAD! HOW DID YOU GET SO SMALL?"

You open your mouth to respond--

"I WAS GOING ON A WALK, BUT MAYBE WE COULD DO SOMETHING ELSE?"

You are unnerved by the way he says "something else"; He seems to me taking this whole you-shrinking-thing very well..

"WELL, BRAD? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?"

Looks like he might let you talk this time.
