Anne was walking home from school one day. Being in grade 9 was not the easiest thing in the world. What with homework, mean teachers and her own problems, she just wished that it would all stop and she could be young again. As she was walking, she thought more and more about how great it would be if she could be younger. Just then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a glint in the grass beside her. Puzzled, she picked it up. It was a round disk, with a red circle in the center. It said on it: "Age Changer. If you want to take a break from your regular life, just set the dial and press the red button. You will regress or progress to that age and have your vacation. To get back to your normal age you must reset the dial and press the other green button. You will find yourself on the exact spot you left and in the exact same state you left."
Anne stared at the thing. This was it! She found the dial and paused. Did she want to get older and see what it was like to be an adult, or get younger and relive the simple joys of childhood?
