Kanya hopped on the bike with ease and made a quick u-turn back onto the road. Her mind was racing and her heart pounding. She was quite familiar with riding motorcycles, but with the fear of her captors still in her mind, her fine driving skills were shaky at best. Kanya looked over her shoulder waiting for one of the SUVs to come into view.
After about fifteen minutes with no sign of her kidnappers she started to relax. She was still on the country road and she was not familiar with her surroundings. Panic begin to creep back into her mind as she looked for signs of the city or at least a paved road.
She had no idea where she was or where she was going and she had lost all of her belongings or at least she thought she had. There was still a possibility of the her luggage being picked up at the airport and taken to the lost and found. That is if her father's thugs hadn't picked it up to search through.
"Think Kanya, you are trained to handle these things!" She thought to herself.
Then as if by fate Kanya drove right onto a highway. Maybe she was not as far away from the airport after all. She still had a chance to escape her nightmare life of crime. Kanya slowed herself and looked around. To her left she could see the what looked like the city skyline. She was in luck. Before heading toward the city Kanya checked her chest for her hidden gems. Still there. Her pouch were she kept a back-up copy of her passport, driver's license and extra credit card were still in place as well. Having a criminal mastermind for a father did have its perks.
With that thought in mind she raced toward the city and back to the airport hoping that her father was not there waiting for her.
