Since the defeat of Ganondorf all those years ago, Nabooru became the queen of the Gerudo and has been trying to win back the Hylian's trust with minimal success. It seems everyone is still afraid of the Gerudo, even after all these years. Enough time has passed; heck, Link and Zelda are eighteen or nineteen now! Still, Ganon and his mothers did do horrible things. What a fine mess this was.
When Ganondoef took over Hyrule, he killed their king, and so now Zelda is the sovereign of Hyrule. Nabooru had a meeting with her this afternoon, so this was Nabooru's one chance to have the Gerudo be treated like people again! When Nabooru arrives at the castle, she was planning to buy Zelda's favor with an impressive gift that showcases the cleverness and magical prowess of the desert people. Unfortunately, being Queen of the Gerudo doesn't mean you have any idea what the hell you're doing when it comes to throwing stuff in a big pot. Stirring the cauldron again, allowing the purple smoke to fill her chambers in the Fortress, Nabooru checked the recipe again.
Add one onion, chopped, and stir
Wait, Nabooru thought to herself, it doesn't say clockwise or counterclockwise...by the way, what's a clock? Well, Nabooru has been stirring clockwise so far, so she figured she'd do that again. Little did she know, until it was too late, the next sentence in the recipe:
Be sure to stir COUNTER-clockwise!!! Only a complete moron would do it the other way around!
