Saria sat looking over the bridge from Kokiri Forest. She didn't know why she tortured herself like this. She knew she could never leave the forest. She wanted a life of adventure, she was tired of being cooped up here in the same forest with the same people everyday. But what was there to do? Besides Link, she'd never heard of anyone leaving the forest. If only there was a way...
As she said this, a fairy flew overhead. He heard her thoughts, and decided to have some fun. The Great Deku Tree had banished him from the forest, and he had longed for some kind of revenge since then, but the damnable Kokiri never came near the end of the forest. Until now.
"HEY!" He yelled out, "What are you doing out this far girl? Don't you know the Deku Tree frowns on this?"
"Oh, hello. Yes, I know he does, but I just... I just wish I could get out sometimes. Somehow. I want to see the throne room of Hyrule castle, the plains of Hyrule fields. I want to visit the Gerudo valley and see the warrior women, to see how they survive without men. To be under a waterfall instead of swimming in the same stream everytime."
The fairy giggled in it's head gleefully. "You know... I could do that for you. All you have to do is ask, and I'll take you far away from this forest. You'll see and experience things you never imagined possible."
Saria looked hesitant, but couldn't hold back. "All I have to do is ask? Well... I'm sure the Deku Tree wouldn't mind if I was gone for a LITTLE while. Please let me see the world."
A fiery aura spread around the evil fairy. "Oh, you'll see the world alright, and you will definately experience things you never thought possible. Enjoy your new life girl!" The fairy shouted, as a fireball shot from him and engulfed Saria. It spread over her whole body, then collapsed back to it's original size with no trace of Saria visible. Then it flew off into the air.
"Hmm, that was fun. Maybe some of the others will come looking for her... Whoever she ends up with."
