"No, that won't do!" Evan, the pianist, exclaimed dissatisfied. "Your voice gets too thin. You sound like a newly hatched bird."
"I'm sorry, but that note is among the top of my vocal register! It's not easy to get it that rich... besides.. that chord sounds so out of place" Lulu replied being a little tired.
She was jamming some newly written lyrics together with Evan, the pianist and main composer for their popular all-Zora band, The Indigo-Gos.
She knew Evan didn't mean to be so nit-picky. He was very passionate about his work, and she never doubted his songwriting skills, but his low patience and perfectionism, didn't always go hand in hand.
"trust me, Lulu, this will be a hit! Just wait until I've finished the arrangements for the other instruments... but meanwhile... is there no way you could thicken your tone a little. Make it a little richer and less sharp?"
"I honestly have no idea how to" Lulu said giving a sigh.
"Well... what if you go visit your old vocal-instructor? Maybe she has a few advices"
