The next afternoon, Lulu was sitting in her old voice-instructors room. She explained her problem.
Her former teacher gave a short laugh. "Young lady, nothing is wrong with your voice! Quite the contrary. Your band mates heart lies with his music, but I doubt he has any ideas on how a vocal-chord functions. No, the sound he requests is usually sung by singers with a bit of more girth than you, dear"
"You say I should some weight?" Lulu asked skeptically.
"No, that is your own choice, dear. But might I say, that you are not the first who would do that. Many singers through time has done that. And we are not talking about much, don't worry" her teacher said comforting.
"hmmm" Lulu was hesitant. She wasn't sure if Mikau would like her the same way if she gained weight. Then again, the two would often talk about how they always wanted to walk through fire and water to reach the musical vision their band shared. Maybe if she just gained a little, Mikau would understand.
