Today would be a bad day. Zelda had come up to her room to try and get some breathing room after dealing with that insufferable Link. He'd been tossing around that silly boomerang of his and smashed a hole into the priceless stained glass window of the cathedral, with nothing more than an "Excuuuuuse me, Princess!" to say for it.
Right now, Zelda was more than ready to wring Link's neck if he walked into her room. He was so ridiculously simple. Eat, sleep, break things, stab things, drive Zelda crazy. "How the heck does that idiot save the world anyway?!" she screamed to no one in particular.
Zelda stood up angrily. She was too upset to just sit in her room and muse over the happy happy land outside while she was mad at Link. She grabbed a black cloak and a crystal off her desk. The crystal allowed her take a different form - that of the male Sheikah, Sheik. It came in handy when she wanted anonymity. She put the cloak on over her dress and touched the crystal, concentrating deeply. With a puff of smoke, Sheik was standing in Zelda's place.
"Thinks he's all that...smashing windows...breaking things..." Sheik muttered in a decidedly deeper voice.
He acrobatically hopped out the window, catching an overhanging flag and flipped himself over the large wall. Escaping the castle was always a simple routine, and unless the castle burst into flames, nobody was going to bother Zelda in her room anyway.
Sheik began to wander the streets of the castle town, muttering darkly to himself about that "stupid elf boy." A loud noise drew his attention to a small alleyway. Curiously, Sheik approached to find...
