“Quickly, get those cameras rolling!” Ribbita yelled at her camera crew. “This is an emergency broadcast, after all! The world needs to know about this life-changing threat!” Her camera crew scrambled to get everything ready real quick, their jobs potentially at stake here. Once it was done, they pointed the camera at Ribbita, and gave the all clear. Ribbita nodded, jacked Toadman into the DNN newsvan so that he could keep the connection strong, and started speaking as the camera begin recording.
“This an Emergency Broadcast! There have been reports of an unusual virus spreading through the internet. This strange virus only seems to affect female navis, causing them to gain large amounts of weight! Net users are warned to switch off their navis so that they cannot receive or spread the virus to others. If your Navi is on the internet and is infected with the virus, Jack Out immediately and turn off your PET or Navi so that you cannot spread the virus!”
A jolt of orange electricity suddenly traveled down the Jack-In cord of Ribbita’s PET and into Ribbita, who’s body immediately begun to expand. She didn’t notice until a button popped off her shirt as her expanding belly started to grow noticeably under her clothes. Ribitta blushed and attempted to cover it.
‘I-In a shocking new development, it seems that the virus is somehow able to spread into the real world through contact with an infected PET! Please ignore our previous warning and make no attempt to touch your PET or Navi, lest you get infected as well! Stay home and try not to come into contact with anyone else! Ribbita, DNN!”
Ribbita’s pants begin to feel tight, as her shirt stretched and the buttons on it quivered and her stockings and platform heels tightened, as her clothes had began to become too small for her swelling body. “Qui-Quickly, turn off the cameras before I have a wardrobe malfunction live on TV! “ Ribbita began to fret over her growing body as her crew scrambled to turn off the equipment and figure out what to do.
