Ino was upset with Shikamaru because he was being lazy, he was not helping in the painting. Shikamaru grabbed the water bottle from out of the cooler which they had brought with them.
Shikamaru was extremely thirsty despite the fact he had done very little painting. It was the plan for them all to share the water however, Shikamaru hogged it all. leaving none for the rest of them. When Ino saw what Shikamaru did she was furious.
"You stupid, lazy, clod you have taken all of our water! Now what are the rest of us supposed to do?" Ino spoke through her anger,
Choji tried to calm her from her tantrum. Although she had right to be angry she knew her focus should be on their painting job.
Choji spoke up, "I'll go get more water so we won't be with out and the two of you can continue with the painting."
Ino was agreeable to this, she would stay and argue with that shiftless Shikamaru. Oh she didn't hate him but she was disappointed in his work ethic. He wanted to lay around and rest and watch while everyone else worked diligently.
"I didn't mean to drink it all, it's just that I was thirsty and I got carried away. I'll help you paint," he said as he picked up a roller and pin to paint with. "you can count on me," he said with excitement.
"I'm sure I can, but you have cost us a lot of time and a loss of one of us for the time being, because Choji had to go back for more water."
