This choice: Naruto had found it, thinking it was some kind of energy drink • Go Back... As Shikamaru and Ino fought over who would go retrieve the bottle, Naruto came walking down the street and slipped on the bottle causing him to land flat on his face.
"Who the heck leaves an empty bottle in the middle of the street?!?" He yelled picking up the bottle, ready to toss it.
Just before he was going to throw it he heard something slosh inside of it. He brought it close to his ear and shook it. He definetly heard someting swishing around inside and said, "I wonder what this stuff is..."
Now Naruto wasn't nearly as careful as Shikamaru in these kinds of situations so he put the bottle in his pocket without even thinking about what it could be and ran home to taste it just as Ino ran out the door and started searching.
Once Naruto got back to his apartment he uncorked the bottle and smelled the liquid inside. It smelled fruity and Naruto was pretty thirsty, so he took a few good gulps of it, drinking over half the bottle. Mysteriously enough, the bottle didn't seem to run out of liquid at all. It was still as full as when Shikamaru first drank from it. Naruto corked the bottle again and said, "Man that stuff was good! Whoever dropped it was a real idiot, letting something that good go!"
Naruto put the bottle in his pocket and started walking to the door when he felt a burning sensation in the pit of his stomach. He groaned and held his belly, wondering what was causing this sudden pain. As though answering his question, chakra began to flow wildly through him, overloading him to the point that he nearly blacked out from the power. He managed to stay concious however and was left sitting on the floor, panting from the sudden surge of power.
"What the heck was that?!?" He thought to himself.
He got shakily to his feet and headed for the door again. As he reached it, he started growing. Naruto yelped as he saw the door seemingly shrink away from him. Within seconds his head hit the ceiling and he sat down hard, clutching his head only to have it hit the ceiling again. Naruto got to his feet, causing his head to burst through the ceiling and out the roof. People in the street screamed as Naruto's giant head suddenly burst through the roof, showering the street in debris and continued to panic as his shoulders and the rest of his torso appeared after him. Naruto stepped out of his apartment as soon as his knees were clear and stood in the street, being careful not to crush anything. He continued to grow until he was sixty feet tall, most buildings only up to his shins. He looked around and grinned.
"Hey, this is pretty great! I've never felt so good!"
He pulled out the bottle and said, "And it's all thanks to you, little bottle!"
Unfortunately for Naruto the bottle was a lot smaller and he was still as clumsy as he ever was. He squeezed the bottle a bit too hard, but it was made of tougher stuff than glass and didn't break. What it did do was shoot from out between his fingers and straight through a window into someone's room. Naruto didn't see which building it landed in but he definetly noticed it missing. He frantically began to search for it, wondering where it had landed.
Meanwhile, Ino had had no luck finding the bottle but noticed the streets seemed strangely deserted. Her eyes had been trained on the ground and she therefore hadn't seen Naruto explode out of his apartment. But looking up now, she saw him bending over, searching for something.
"Oh great! Naruto has it! I've got to go tell Shikamaru!"
She ran back to Shikamaru's room to tell him about this new trouble.
Little did she know, the trouble was only beginning.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
