Some Snooze Time

Looking at the bed, I realize my trek has been long and I could use some rest."A few

years worth of rest," I grumble, dealing with the roommate and then wandering out into

this storm has left me a bit frazzled. I decide to lay down on the more mature side of

the bed, as it looks much more comfortable. Before long, I'm sound asleep.

The next thing I know, I am awoken by a knock on the door, and my host is

there to get me for dinner. "Rise and shine," he says, "dinner is in 15 minutes. I see you

opted for a mature perspective," he comments, as he gives me a hand up.

" What is that supposed to mean?" I mutter, noting I feel...different than when

I lay down."And, why does everything seem kinda blurry? My voice seems different

too."

"Oh dear, this always seems to happen the first time," he laughs, and hands me

a pair of glasses. They seem to have a chain attached, which I place around my neck and

then perch the glasses on my nose.

That is when I look in the mirror to see...
