You watch in idle boredom as the conversation between Vivi and Zidane unfolds, Zidane revealing that he entered the shy mage into the Festival. Throwing in your two cents as you remember from the game, you say, "That wasn't very considerate, Zidane." You smirk as Zidane makes the suggestion that he'll get Vivi a date with Garnet. This results in Vivi yelping, "Me and the Princess?!" Steiner, ever the overprotector, comes barging over. Eventually, the whole thing settles down, and Vivi decides to take a Card.
You learn you need to head to the Industrial district, while Zidane heads to the Theater district, and Vivi to the Business district. Getting on the ferry, you go to your assigned starting point. You get there just as a horn sounds, starting the festival.
Exiting the station, you immediately spot two things: a Fang chasing a cat around the fountain, and a Mu lurking up the stairs. Which will you go after?
