Well... Think of it this way: How many times did Garnet or any other female Final Fantasy character for that matter say they needed to go to the bathroom because of a period... Who said they even had them? You wondered that, then you thought of something else, and realized Steiner hates perverts and so you pull out your pants while he watches and make your womb clearly visible to him... Next he looks at you and then thinks you meant you needed to change clothes, so what happens is he runs out before he thinks you realized he watched you do that... Next, you can decide what to do, but know that if Zidane dies, you're dead, but Garnet did take her time regardless to go save Zidane in the original game...
