Road block heading home

As you head to your house in the Hospital the ground starts to shudder as someone is approaching you at a run. You are so used to this that you do not even fall over any more, you just move to the side of the hallway and stop moving letting the person pass. Before they reach you, however, they trip so that the person lands with their face just a couple of inches from you. As you stand back up from the fall you see that it is the child of one of your co-workers that has a going away party tonight. The kid opens their eyes and spots you. They give a shout of joy and snatch you right off the ground thinking you are a toy, before putting you in their pocket.
