Chapter #4Memories of old, lead to something new by: Unknown Delia Katchum, Mother to Ash Ketchum, was doing some some dusting when she knocked a book from the shelf she was cleaning by accident. She realized what happened when she heard the object hit the floor and looked at it. It was a bright read photo album with the words 'my memories' written on the cover.
Curious, she put her feather duster down and picked up the album. She opened the book to it's first page and was surprised at what she saw.
The first picture in the album was of three kids, two boys and one girl, no older then Ash. The young girl, standing in the middle was no other then Delia herself. The two boys were her friends, who she traveled with. Bob Rockets and Hank Katchum, the father of Ash, himself.
Delia still could remember those days fairly well. She remembered how head strong she was, just like Ash. Luckily she had a couple of good friends, like her son does, or she would probably have never made it.
'Hmm, I wonder what's Bob's doing now?' Delia asked herself.
"Mr. Mine?" a familiar voice asked curiously.
Startled, Delia nearly dropped her album as she looked at her pokemon friend and clearing buddy, Mr. Mine.
"Oh, Miny, you startled me," Delia said with that sweet smile of her. She then notice Mr. Mine's staring at her album curiously. "You want to know about this?"
Mr. Mine nodded his head eagerly and Delia just smiled more.
"Well when I was younger I looked to take a lot of pictures, while I was traveling around. These boys were my first friends I meant while traveling. I fell in love with Hank and married him, once we were both down with pokemon. I have seen bob Rockets in years," Delia explained in a ever deeper sadden tone.
Mr. Mine put his finger to his mouth, feeling the sadness coming off of the adult woman. It seems that remembering this was making Delia feel her age. She seems to snap out of it as she looked at the clock and realized what time it was.
"Oh look, it's dinner time," She said, standing up and putting on her usual smile. "What to help me, Mimy?"
Mr. Mime cheered up instantly and want about his usual routine of helping Ash's mother. Delia took one last, longing look at her old album before putting it away and got starting on dinner.
After dinner and a little more cleaning, Delia turned in. Wearing a light pink night gown, she got into bed and instantly fell asleep, dreaming of the her younger days. Unknown to the adult woman, there was an extra being in the house at the time.
The Celebi that Ask and Sammy Oak saved a whole back have came to Pallet Town to check up on Oak and had also sense the longing sadness from the woman. It felt like it needed to repay one of the two people who saved his life and decided to gave the mother of his friend one last adventure.
Calling on one of it's more secret powers, Celebi wrapped the redhead in a bubble of time. Quickly, the 35 year old woman was taken down to a 12 year, same age as her son. Feeling like it's job was done, Celebi prepared to leave, when a thought popped into his head.
