You manage to pull yourself away from her when Ryan gets home. When Ryan comes in with his dad, you bring him outside to explain about the machine. He's bee your best friend since kindergarten. He knows rght away you aren't lying. His mom gives you a ride, since it's hard for him to walk, and you take him to the shed.
"Thanks for doing this for me." he says as he gets in. He leans his crutches up against the side of machine. You climb in the other pod and hit the button. A blindling blue light flashes and you instantly feel the weight difference in your leg. You grab the crutches and stand up. It's not easy but you manage to bring yourself to the mirror. You see a red haired boy with freckles, a celtics jacket, and a cast on his leg staring back at you. Ryan gets up and starts dancing around as you.
"Wooo hooo!! My leg isn't broken! Yeah! All right!" he screams as he dances. The two of you fool around for around half an hour, and then you finally ask to change back.
"Well... No." he denies you.
"WHAT!!!" you scream in his face.
"Come on, I get the cast off next week, haven't I suffered enough?"
"You never switched with me when my arm was broken!"
"I never had the option! I would have done it!"
You sigh, that's probably true, but you don't want to stay like this for a week. He has aesma, a broken leg, his mom is overprotective right now.
"Please man, Your mom is cool. Your stuff rocks, and I'd... like to get to know Joanna better."
You're shocked when you hear this. Better yet, Joanna just came up to the door as he said that. "Why the hell would you ever want to get to know her better? She's ugly, and she's a wimpy baby!"
"Shut up! You have to stop judging everyone by thier looks!" He goes over and locks the pods and throws a tarp on top of the machine," She's one of the kindest, sweetest people I know. She's gre-" He gets cut off by Joanna jumping and hugging who she thinks is her brother. The two of them walk inside the house, leaving you, stuck in Ryans body.
