A'shter uses the gun on John

In the room, John and Rachel were on the bed laying next to each other and for the time being, talking about their futures and what plans they had. There was a great shot for A'shter to get both of them but he only wanted payback on the lion, Rachel he'd probably leave be.
After a few minutes, John sat up and sat crosslegged at the front of the bed while the fox stayed right where she was. With careful aim, the snake blasted the large lion. He quickly shriveled in height, by the time he finished his voice was too quiet for anyone to really hear.
On the bed, John looked around and instantly had a pretty good idea of what happened. Damn snake got him and got him good. A glance to his side revealed Rachel's feet, flat against the bed and with her knees high in the air. Her toes, normally about 3 inches tall now soared towards 1500 feet overhead, big enough to shoot by most skyscrapers, only two or three were any larger. He was actually smaller than a flea.
Rachel just layed there, thinking that her boyfriend had just fallen silent for a bit. Had someone told her she had a boyfriend 1/550th her size she'd never have believed them. If they told John she was that big, he'd believe them in a heartbeat.
