Chapter #4

Mirror Mirror

    by: Unknown
The kid in the distance, might as well make a little kid, littler. John took aim with the gun on shrink and fired, despite the night and great distance, his inability to see the target clearly and more. With a pull on the trigger, blue lightning lanced across the evening going on night to strike the target, and RETURN!

There was no chance to yell as lightning shot through John and at first he held the trigger thinking it came from the target, when he released the trigger, he realized it was his own fire. At first nothing happened, giving him enough time to see the target was indeed the little wolf boy and that he was carrying strange mirror, like those used to start a fire by amplifying sunlight. Things next when bad, very bad indeed.

John wandered free of cover when he thought all was clear, and then in plain view of Katie, Jim and perhaps even the younger wolf, he began to shrink, and fast. Beneath him, the grass came out from under his feet as he shrank down to the point it didn't fit under him. While still above the grass, he sees the titans coming his way and then stalks of plant life shoot over him into a forest. He finds himself standing in his right foot print, in the center of the print from the formerly enormous pad. He's still shrinking the whole time and it only makes him fell worse.

On the rim of the foot print, John sees a few of his fleas, those who'd jumped off and they were bigger than him. The shrink finally stops when he's around 300 feet from the surface of the ground. His inch-deep foot print was now 300 feet, it lost a half inch to the pad print an then the rest from his whole foot. He stood in sweat up to his ankles from the pad that had been here minutes ago.

Next the little lion hears enormous booms from the distance, he looks up and regrets it. The cat and wolf stand on the sidewalk, which itself is a few hundred feet tall and tower over him. They're looking down in search of, presumably, him. The wolf steps into the yard and passes over the tiny creature, who see the 'little' lupine's foot measures around a thousand feet long in the least, the cat steps up but doesn't come in, her foot is a mile long. Height is something that he doesn't worry about yet, these things are too big for that. He struggles to lift a little rock and they move a mile of them with a foot. They were kids, far stronger and bigger than him.
