This choice: Uncle Bob & Crazy Aunt Danielle • Go Back...Chapter #3Crazy Aunt Bob by: laughingjack Well your eyes had been closed, but you had not yet drifted off to slumber, but you were quite suprised to hear a cry from across the table. Your uncle Bob was making some funny faces. The guy was a former officer in the army and took himself way too seriously, so these faces and strange looks were not normal, more more reminiscent of your crazy aunt (Bob's sister-in law) Danielle.
Come to think of it your aunt was making the same crazy eyes at the very moment. Your Danielle and Uncle Bob seemed to have a stare down but they seemed more frightened then anything. Personally it was more startling to see Uncle Bob's expression on his face. It was again very out of charachter for him to appear frightened or make any sort of goofy eyes.
Even more oddly your aunt Danielle spoke, well yelled, "What the hell is going on? How did you do this, how am I in your body." She spoke directed at your uncle. Everyone still shocked at hearing Danielle verbalize her first words in years stood silent, but figured she was rambling something crazy.
You uncle Bob kind of snickered.
"You think this is funny don't you?" Danielle again yelled towards Bob. "Turn me back right now, and get that silly grin off your face."
The at once bewildered Uncle Bob, was now calm and a smirk had crept across his face. He seemed to enjoy Aunt Danielle's irritated state, and her silly rantings about switching bodies.
The tension could be cut with a knife. "Pass me some Corn and Cranberry Sauce, sonny." your grandpa spoke to your cousin Tonya who could hardly be mistaken for a boy. Ahh another one of your grandpa's famous random things. The rest of the family seemed to laugh. All but, Danielle.
"Can't you see what is going on here? It's me Bob, trapped in your sister's body." She tries to convince her sister (Bob's wife), Jane.
Jane turns to Bob, and says "well what do you make of this, dear?"
Bob replies with a grunt. Aunt Jane looked frightened. "I don't think Danielle's lying, I think that is Bob! But, how!?!" she exclaimed. "Oh no, the cursed turkey, but who believes in such silly things, now i'm married to my crazy sister and in love with a man in my sister's body."
"It'll be ok dear." Bob clearly in Danielle's body said. Being comforted in such a loving manner by her sister's body didn't help calm Aunt Jane in the least. Danielle's body actually had a suprising nice voice. Well considering you were used to series of grunts. Across the table grandpa was putting his cranberry sauce on his head and his corn down his pants. Even another senile grandpa moment couldn't stop Aunt Jane from panicing.
Bob was trying to comfort her, while Danielle was staring at the palms of her new hands.
Despite all the happenings, grandpa, your younger brother Tommy, your older sister Jenna and everyone other than your hysterical aunt jane and your uncle bob and aunt danielle were still feeling weary. Before you know it your eyes are closed, maybe for a second, maybe for a lot longer, you can't really tell.
You wonder who this cursed turkey will affect next.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
