Megan may be a terrible date, but being swallowed by her doesn't sound like fun either. Therefore you start splashing around, yelling, and doing everything you can in order to get noticed.
But it all seems to be in vain as Megan lifts the beer glass to her lips. She begins to tilt it. She opens her eyes again after having closed them in reflex for a second. "Ugh! A bug!" She sees you, no doubt, pulls the glass away from her face and flings it away.
You feel sick as you suddenly accelerate. The counter races by beneath you, and then there is just the air and the floor far below. Your journey stops just as sudden as the glass crashes into the wall, bursting apart. The beer and you get spilled all over the floor while Megan is shouting at the bartender that she would have her daddy buy this place and fire him, if he couldn't give her a beer without a bug inside.
The dancing had stopped for a moment as everyone was looking at the bar, but since no one expected anything better from her, things return to normal in no time. No one seems to be paying attention to the pool of beer you are swimming in. The fall has taken its toll on you, but you don't seem to have taken anything worse than a few bruises. You think you have seen Marsha on the other end of the dance floor, but you are not sure. You could just as well have mistaken someone else for her due to a concussion taken after that fall. Currently, you seem to be reasonably safe, as no one wishes to approach the pool whose surface is doted with the sharp edges of glass splinters rising above it. So what are you going to do?
