With great effort you haul yourself up onto the shoreline. Lying back you relax your tired muscles and bask in the light of the sun. How long were you in that sparrow? At least a day, maybe an eternity for all you can tell. It was a rough trip, but you made it out alive! Suddenly you start to laugh out loud, realising for the first time all that you were just through. Hell how could you have survived something like that, being eaten and passing all the way through? "Heheh, guess this makes me bird shit" you mumble to yourself, and attracting the attention of a nearby creature.
Still chuckling to yourself everything around you is quickly forgotten. Suddenly it's as though nothing matters, the huge world is unimportant, your basking in the afterglow of survival. But what's that strange noise? You break your chain of laughter and return to the real world with the strange sound of panting coming from behind you. Before you have a chance to turn around a shadow falls over you. Looking up, you see a giant, canine face of brown and black. Amber eyes blink as they gaze down on you, and a wet, pink tongue throbs in and out of a mouth left agape. He looks like a great rottweiler, a champion dog if ever you saw one.
A pity champions need so much food, a bigger pity that this one seems hungry... the biggest pity is that your right in front of him. Maybe someone should tell the dog that you've already had your anatomy lesson for the day...
