Small potatoes!

"I'm trapped like a midget!" Cried Tommy, unsure where that burst of language had come from as he had never heard that phrase before in his life.

He was sure he could hear a muffled laugh as his body began to shrink. "Oh no! Why did I ever make that wish?" He wailed, looking up at the giant hoof of his nag of a sister. And again, at that, he was sure he heard another quiet chuckle. Could that be the genie? he thought to himself.

STOMP! A deafening bang shook Tommy to his knees and luckily, as he fell, he just escaped the hoof that was trying to squash him. STOMP! I came down again, but the mare was clumsy and continued to miss Tommy's tiny body.

Running in desperation from his angry sister, he aimed for the gap under the sofa. There he would be safe from the hooves and there he could think what to do next.

Under the sofa he could barely see for the darkness. He heard a squeak behind him. Shaking he turned about and searched the darkness.
