The iguana wanted to keep the boy's attention all to himself. He started to grow himself again and the boy tried climbing up his leg and onto his back as he did so. The iguana stopped growing when the boy's house was only the size of one of his feet. By the time he had finished growing, the boy was on his back. The boy looked like he was really enjoying himself.
The child looked like he wanted to go for a ride and the iguana complied. People began to flee in terror when they saw the giant iguana. Even running most people were not able to move fast enough to escape the walking iguana. The iguana noticed the crunching noise the people made as they were crushed by his clawed feet, but since they were not his friends he really did not care. Besides the boy was enjoying himself and he was not going to let a minor detail like a few crushed bugs interfere with his fun.
