Having been spat out, Sokka landed hard onto the earth at her feet. Picking his head from the dusty puddle, Sokka is face to face with enormous, wiggling toes, unabated by shoes.
"Thanks I was looking for that."
Toph replied smartly, slowly rolling her foot over Sokka to make sure he didn't get into any more trouble. Her skin was rough and calloused, but Sokka could feel how delicate her senses were. Toph let the girl wander off because Toph had better things to do with the cards she'd been dealt just now. Wiggling her toes playfully she laughs at the sensation of Sokka struggling beneath her feet.
"Keep fighting it tickles!" She exclaimed before spreading her toes and and bending over to pick her friend from in-between them. She held Sokka so he could see her playful smile.
"Maybe I should make you clean my toes like you do for Appa!" Toph laughed again.
"Who are you talking to Toph?" Katara asked curiously.
Toph quickly closed her hand and discreetly tried to tuck Sokka into the small bag of coins she kept at her waist.
"I thought someone was standing there, I guess not!" Toph said almost suspiciously.
"I think I'm going to go back to camp, I think I need to go somewhere with less people shuffling around."
Without waiting for anyone's confirmation, she not so gently patted the coin purse and gallantly strode off in the direction she was facing.
