a brand new Mastercard in his name

'Bless you, grandma and grandpa," Jason thought to himself unfolded the note. It was wrapped around a brand new Mastercard in his name. Flabbergasted, he looked long and hard at the card, then slowly opened up the shirt and put it on. A note fluttered out of the shirt, with a couple of $50 bills clipped to it. "Take these and buy yourself some nice suppers." Wow, he said to himself. He noticed that the note continued. “Don’t run up crazy bills on the Mastercard, but don’t starve yourself, either. Buy clothes that really fit. And call us so we can have dinner together, soon.”

“Oh, I won’t starve myself,” Jason said quietly to himself. He thought about his grandparents, and his Grandma's comment about looking like his uncle. He tried to think if he had ever seen a photo of his uncle, but couldn't remember one.

And now his grandparents were offering to help him out. He hadn’t ever really thought about how much they must be worth, but it must be substantial - and they was willing to trust him with a share.

Feeling incredibly buoyed by the discovery of the note and the credit card - and the great fit of the new clothes - Jason practically bounded out the door of the frat house. He headed down the street...
