Janet ordered a small, healthy meal that she claimed to be the perfect size for her appetite. "Don't want to get fat!" she said jokingly. "Yeah," Lucy said wistfully, wondering if her order of a pizza slice was a good idea. She begrudgingly changed her mind and ordered a salad without dressing, thinking that the chicken in it would be enough calories to keep her going.
The girls paid, took a number, and stepped to the side to wait for their food. When the number was called, two gooey, cheesy strombolis waited for them, steaming. Janet practically shrieked. "I can't eat that! I want a refund!" An employee pointed to a tinily-printed admonition- No Refunds.
"Ugh, food courts," Janet groaned. "C'mon," she said to Lucy, who had been quiet. "I'm not really hungry anyway."
"Yeah," Lucy said. But she wished for the fatty dough and greasy cheese anyway. Janet began to walk away. "Wait," said Lucy.
