Laura thought for a moment, studying the cop over and deciding that she would take her chances. After all she had just purchased the apartment she was in and still had payments on it, so..
"Thank you officer, but I'll be staying here thank you!" Laura said quirkedly as she closed the door moderately fast in the officer's face.
Officer Cameron sighed, knowing that he had orders that if a civilian refused he had many more to get to that may gladly accept help. With a heavy sigh, the officer started back down the hall only to stall from a strange hissing noise behind him.
"Hmmm..?" He hummed, turning around to look behind him, figuring it may just be a pipe or something unimportant to his attention.. He was wrong.
