Thomas led Jenny to the park, it was just around the corner after leaving the complex. Thomas continued to fill Jenny's ears with sweet remarks and clever come-ons as they slowly made their way to the gates to the park, the two were in a relatively good mood until a spine curling scream was heard as two women came running over the hill in the middle of the park and down the stone walk way, out the gate and down the street. There was a few dim figures now at the top of the hill where the two women just came from, though they weren't running.
"I wonder what that was all about?" Thomas said as if to make it out to be a joke until a police car came around the corner with his sirens blaring as he parked right up on the sidewalk next to Thomas and Jenny who were viewing the park from a distance. A young, well cut police officer jumped out of the car and pulled his handgun instantly which made Thomas jump back a bit, letting go of Jenny and even putting her between him and what he thought was a psychotic cop.
The police officer looked at the two and then to the hill with a sweat dripping down his brow, "You two need to leave this area now!" The police officer said with a demanding voice as he turned and to Thomas and Jenny's surprise shot off two rounds at the hill, one of the advancing silhouettes dropped over and rolled down the hill a distance. Thomas' heart was starting to race and he was getting really concerned about what was going on when..
