Try to patch him up, there is a virus out there...

"We need to get that treated." Laura states. "This virus could be air-born for all that we now. If that--"

"The Virus is not air-born, now can we please go?" Tom states.

"How can you be so sure that this virus is not air-born?" Laura asks.

"I don't have the time to explain the details, lets just say that I know more then I want to know about the stupid virus." Tom slowly looks at her allowing her to see that he was being serious. Then a scream is heard from outside the car, only a few yards away.

When they all turn, they see a woman being attacked by someone, or something that is in the shadows. They cannot make out any specific characteristics about the thing, but it does not look like it is a person.

Officer Cameron gets out of the car saying "What the hell is that." Then he draws his weapon and takes aim at the disgusting looking shadow and yells "Freeze! Don't move or I'll be forced to shoot!" The creature makes a quick jerking motion toward him, losing interest in the woman. "I said FREEZE!" He shouts.

By this time Laura has already gotten out of the car a long with a now trembling Tom. She whispers to him "What is that thing?"

"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit." Is the only response that she gets.

"Do you know what that thing is?" Laura asked.

"No, but I know what it does!" He exclaims.
