The two of them reach the cave after evading the sorceress. With a sigh of relief, Kendall become quite grateful over his rescuer. She seems nice and caring to him, instead of making plans that might end his life before he know it.
Gale heads inside, still carrying the tiny man in her hand while bringing her horse into the strange place as well. She continues inside the hollow place, making sure to look back in case she has been followed.
Kendall wonders how far she is going into the cave, as it only seems to get darker the more they traverse through it. He grows nervous wondering if all of this was a trap set for him or a way to live well in good hands.
After a while of walking, Gale stops before a wall. With a charm on her neck, she takes it out and has it face the wall before her. The magical charm illuminates with green light, which also takes effect on the wall. A maze-like pattern takes form and begins to expand out in various directions on the wall. Soon, it envelops the wall, becoming a portal. With a confident expression on her face, Gale steps through and enters another area.
