Chapter #5One Hungry Kitty by: chaos Jon was absolutely certain; the curvy female in front of him was Aisha Clan Clan from Outlaw Star. Her long cat ears poked out from both sides of her head, while her tail waved lazily behind her. She might have looked relaxed, but Jon could tell that she was on the hunt. How much of a hunt she was going to get Jon wasn’t sure. It was hard to imagine having the prey carried to your table as very sportsmanly.
Aisha raised her nose to the air and sniffed around her. This wasn’t an uncommon thing for the more furrier customers of the Ravénous Café.
“Meow, I smell so many yummy terrans in the kitchen and some other creatures that I can’t quiet place.” Aisha sounded unsure of herself. She could detect the scent of human, but something else, something exotic.
“We have a wide assortment of humans, aliens, antros, were-creatures, robots, lizard men and I think we may have a few heavenly bodies fresh in today.” Aisha nodded, letting herself be led to her table while Jon listed all the bizarre creatures she could eat. Aisha felt a strange sense of déjà vu when she walked into the restaurant, like she’d been there before. Shaking her head to throw off these strange thoughts she was getting, Aisha took her seat at the table Jon had led her to. She shuffled around several times in her chair, feeling how sturdy it was. It would have to be sturdy because when she finished eating, Aisha planned to be as heavy as an elephant.
“Here’s your menu, look over it and see if there is anyone you’d like to eat.” Jon handed Aisha the menu slowly. He’d seen over eager patrons rip it out of his hands in their frenzy to get fed and Although Aisha seemed compliant at the moment, Jon knew better then to expect it to remain the same when the hunger hit her. Jon left the carnivorous Ctarl Ctarl and went back to his post at the front of the door, there would be more hungry characters coming any moment now and he couldn’t let them wait.
Aisha flipped open the menu and stared hard at the long line of names beside pictures. Jon hadn’t been kidding when he said the restaurant had a lot of different pray, Aisha saw creatures on the menu that made her look normal. She studied the rows of pictures, examining the features and small tidbits beside them.
“Says this ones an alien, but this other one is a demon,” Aisha muttered to herself slowly. Her eyes traveled from one picture to the next, mapping out the ones that looked the most delicious. Her eyes set themselves on the picture of a young boy with a big smile and a spiky blond hair.
“Cloud Strife,” Aisha read the name beside the picture. He looked young and full of life, the perfect combination for her meals. Also, when she looked really close at his picture, he almost looked like Jim. He would be a good choice for her first meal at the Ravénous Café.
