You close your eyes in horror, fearing that the wolf is going to eat you. The wolf continues licking your face, when you suddenly realize that your face doesn't hurt anymore. The wolf stops licking you for a moment. You manage to move your arm and feel your face with your right hand. You feel a bit of the wolf's saliva covering a scratch on your right cheek. You rub off some dry blood, and realize that it's not bleeding.
"Is this wolf, helping me?" you wonder.
You freeze as the wolf begins licking several others of your body. With each place the tongue touches, the pain seems to go away. Your body doesn't hurt as much anymore, and you find yourself able to stand up. You push yourself to your feet, but stumble a bit and quickly fall back over.
As you hit what you believe to be the ground, you feel what feels like soft rabbit fur underneath you. You open your eyes to find yourself lying on the wolf's back.
"You...broke my fall!" you gasp.
The wolf slowly sets you down on your stomach and proceeds to stand over your body. It licks the back of your neck.
"Stop, that tickles." you say.
The wolf grabs the skin on the back of your neck, and lifts you up like it would a wolf pup. The wolf's touch has caused your skin to stretch, but it doesn't hurt surprisingly. You guess that the wolf licked it to numb it like it did your wounds. The wolf begins trotting off in the forest.
