Kevin changes Ryder into a human drone on skates

Jace, Bart and Kevin looked on as Ryder skated around them, zooming past them before taking off and circling the block at high speed. He was soaring down the street when Jace got an idea.

“Wow, look at him go! He’s flying!” he said.

“Flying?” Kevin wondered. “Hmm… Hey, Ryder! Come back here!”

Ryder skated back to where the boys were standing.

“I wanna try something. Jace, do you still have that drone app on your cell phone?”

While Jace pulled up the app, Ryder suddenly saw pylons grow from the ends of his inline skates. At each end, a horizontal propeller formed, one by the toa, and one past the heel of his skate. Ryder now had four propellers sticking our from his skates, just like a real drone.

“Hey! My skates just grew propellers!” Ryder exclaimed.

“Ryder, go and skate in a straight line down the street, and we’ll see if we can get you to fly!” Kevin remarked as Jace launched the app on his phone.

No sooner did Ryder start to push off from his skates, or the propellers started spinning very fast. After a few strokes, Ryder was gliding down the street when his wheeled feet suddenly became airborne!

“Whaaah! I’m flying!” Ryder shouted as he found himself soaring across the air, flying over the street.

“Oh, nice! I can make him FLY!” Jace smiled, as he used the controls on his phone.

Jace tapped the screen on his phone and directed Ryder to fly over his house and then over the street, all from his phone. Finally, Jace sent Ryder back over the street as he made him descend for landing. Ryder came down on his skates, just like an airplane.

“Whoohoo! That was fun!” Ryder cheered, as he rolled to a stop before the boys.

“Let’s send him somewhere?” Bart suggested as Kevin looked on.

“Let’s make Ryder fly to…”
