Keven was curious.....how far could he take it? Surely Nuncio could allow him this one time to test out his powers to the limit, he only did just get them.
Keven focused on Jaegar again, but was unsure how to continue his changes.
After several minutes of serious thought, Keven decided to start with height.
He started slowly, upping the boy only about an inch, then a couple more, then a few more inches...bit by bit...
Keven stopped at 6'6" which was an astounding height for any age, let alone an eight year old! Keven took a good look at the situation around him, and the first thing he noticed was that Jaegar wasn't actually playing the game anymore, most likely due to no pitcher his age being able to easily throw that high to be a legal pitch.
Not liking that he was keeping Jaegar from playing the game, Keven quickly shrunk the boy back to his previous height (and thus, the previous reality).
"Hmm...." Keven thought to himself, "what next?"
After a couple more minutes, he thought that an age increase would be interesting.
Keven watched with a great interest as all of reality changed as Jaegar grew older and older. Kevin decided that 18 was a good age (and because he couldn't change anyone older then himself) to stop at.
Through his powers, Kevin saw all of Jaegar's memories through the years as he grew older. How he was star of his LL team as a kid, and since he loved it so much he continued to play it through Junior High and High School, becoming a "jock" in only the sports sense of the word, but not in attitude since he kept his fun loving personality no matter how big his muscles got (which was something to brag about) and no matter how much he frightened the "nerds and geeks" at school. Though he did need their help in English (he got too used to baseball lingo), he asked them politely, didn't give money, didn't offer protection, simply asked them as a human to another human.
"Good job! Don't worry, you can get it next time! Did you scrape your knee? I'll get a bandaid." were just some of the things that Jaegar said to his team as he wore his "Assistant Coach" hat and shirt for his dad's LL team.
After the game was done, Kevin still sat in the bleachers, enjoying the good life that he had now given the baseball star.
"Hey Kev! Come over here!" called Jaegar.
Remembering that he was sitting alone in bleachers at an LL game, Keven snapped too.
Kevin walked over to Jaegar and his father who were finishing putting everything up from the game.
"Jee Kev, you need to work out more." said Jaegar, playfully as he put a muscular arm around Kevin.
Keven suddenly had memories of him and Jaegar working out a couple years ago as both were trying to get bigger to get dates when they started HS. Kevin now knew that he couldn't get bigger, but still went over each day to help Jaegar get bigger and bigger (which he did of course, thanks to Kevin's abilities).
"I love Fridays, don't you Kev?" asked Jaegar.
"Ya I do, but I've got nothing to do today." replied Kevin, still getting used to the fact that even HIS reality had changed.
"Since the game's done, neither do I....Hmm, why not "The Hoax"?" replied the baseball star.
"Th-the Hoax?" Kevin said, slightly scared for The Hoax was the nickname of the burger joint that all the "jocks" (and girlfriends of course) hung out at. It was so called because supposedly, many years ago, a man who was completely unlucky through his whole life ate a burger there, and died a mysterious death that night. To this day, no one actually ate any burgers from there, but they were still on the menu. It was often times a major dare (and in some cases a bet) if one would eat a burger, or even order one.
Kevin had a choice...
