Jimbo his gut and a pathetic escape attempt

Jim looked up the ladder to his freedom. How stupid were the kids holding him. He could easily just climb out and escape. He Put one hand on the railing and stepped up with his first foot. He turned and went to put his left hand on the railing, but his big red belly bounced off the ladder before his hand could make it. Jim attempted to maneuver around his gut and finally managed to get both hands off the ladder, his belly pressed into it, but he was on the road to freedom. After a tiring climb, Jim removed the sewer cover and proceeded to climb out. But, just as the kids told him it would his belly would not fit. He pushed and pulled but he could not get his belly out. His legs slipped off of the ladder, Jim braced himself for a big fall, but instead his belly held him. He was stuck in the ground, his belly wedged into a sewer access hold. Jim had nothing left to do but rest his scruffy head on his belly and dangle his feet now until somebody came to pry his gut out, plus he'd probably get pumped for trying to escape.
