Saw Isaribi looking at her. Hinata paled at the sight of her romantic rival towering over her. “Hello Hinata…I like the new look. Easy-to-squish right?” Hinata nearly had a hart attack as Isaribi placed her feet in front of her as a way to emphasize her point.
“I’m feeling good today Hyuga, so I’ll make you a deal: Keep away from my Naruto and I WOUN’T turn you into a stain on my soles.”
Hinata whimpered, she didn’t like either choice.
If she was never around Naruto, it would kill her, but if she didn’t agree, Isaribi would kill her and she’d never be around Naruto anyway.
“I-I-Isaribi…p-p-please! I can’t stand being away from Naruto-kun any more then you can! Can’t we be friends?” the shrunken girl pleaded
Isaribi looked thoughtful. True, she hated being separated from the fox-boy she liked so much. If Hinata felt just as horrible without him…she understood the girl’s feelings.
“Hinata, let me get this straight: You like Naruto, I like Naruto, and we can’t be friends if we’re fighting over him, but you want to be friends with me. And neither of us wants to let go of our feelings for him, right?” Isaribi said. “Y-y-yes. Please try and understand, I’ve cared for Naruto-kun for as long as I can remember, I want us to be friends, but I don’t want to live my life without him.” suddenly Hinata giggled "I feel like we're Sakur and Ino fighting over Sasuke."
Isaribi knew the ‘life-without-Naruto’ thing was harsh. If it wasn’t him, she’d still be doing Amachi’s dirty work. If she planed to keep from being a monster, she couldn’t torture Hinata, and if she’d always known him the way the tiny Hyuga had then had to live without him…too painful to think of.
“Ok Hinata, I won’t kill you or force you to abandon how you feel for that sweetie we both know and love. But in exchange, you have to be my…”
